URGENT REQUIREMENT FOR SOUTH SUDAN

PROJECT MANAGER/SR.HIGHWAY ENGINEER

The candidate shall be a Highway Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Highway, Traffic or Transport Engineering or its equivalent and preferably a Chartered or registered Engineer with at least 15 years of professional exp, out of which he should have worked as a Team Leader/Project Manager or equivalent for a minimum of five (5) years on road design and construction supervision of highway projects, and safety audit in the region. The candidate should have a proven record of managerial capability through directing/managing of major civil engineering works, including projects of similar magnitude and various kinds of consultancy services in a post conflict area. Knowledge of international ‘best practices’ in latest conditions of engineering contract procedures, construction, contract management and administration, and modern highway construction technology as well as consultancy services is important. S/He should have previously worked as Team Leader/Project Manager or in similar capacity on at least two Project Management works of major Road projects which are under EPC/Design and Build Road upgrading/rehabilitation. He should have proven the ability to manage and administer a project of this nature. Fluency in both written and spoken English and the ability to communicate freely and easily is essential

SALARY : USD 4000

 ASST.PROJECT MANAGER/CONTRACTS ENGG

He shall be with a post graduate degree in Civil Engineering meeting the qualification for the Project Manager’s Representative and preferably a Chartered or registered Engineer with a minimum of ten (10) years’ post-qualification exp  and shall have handled at least three (3) similar roads assignments within the last 10 years at the same position or similar. S/He shall have demonstrable skills in roads and bridges design and construction quantities, administration of an EPC contract and in the Claim documentation and administration. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential
